Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek
Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek is one of the most popular treks in the Annapurna Region of Nepal which can be completed in a short duration, anytime around the year, and doesn’t necessarily require any past experience. It is one of the best short and easy treks which offers panoramic views of the stunning Annapurna Himalayan range while passing through beautiful forests (especially rhododendron forest) and insightful local Gurung and Magar villages. Overview
Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek with Chitwan Tour starts the next day after your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport and sightseeing around the culturally rich Kathmandu valley. We will then take a scenic drive from Kathmandu to the paradise city of Pokhara. On your Ghorepani Poon Hill trek, you will not only see those breathtaking snow-capped peaks but also beautiful glacier lakes and the lush green of rhododendron forests. Weaving through bamboo trees, this Nepal mountain hike will also take you to crash waterfalls that have been carving the local landscape for hundreds of thousands of years
Chitwan
On the other hand, the 2 nights and 3 days program in Chitwan will be another part of the excitement of this tour. You can explore the indigenous Tharu people and their lifestyle and culture there. Whereas, the Chitwan National Park is the first national park of Nepal which was established in 1973 and granted the status of a World Heritage Site in 1984. It covers an area of 952.63 km2 and is located in the subtropical Inner Terai lowlands of south-central Nepal in the districts of Nawalpur, Parsa, Chitwan, and Makwanpur. You can notice some of the rarest animals and vegetation in the national park including one-horned rhino, Bengal tiger, magic mushrooms, and a lot more.
In this way, the music, the dance, the cultural program, the herbs and vegetations, the endangered animals, elephant safari, and a whole lot of refreshment activities would be awaiting your arrival at Chitwan.
