I did the Poonhill trekking and everything was perfectly organized. I specifically asked for a female guide, and they arranged it for me.

Pooja was a fantastic guide and a real “power woman.” She also took care of all the transport and other details, so I felt completely looked after—almost like a princess, which felt a bit strange, but I let her take the lead because she knows what she’s doing.

The guesthouses she chose were very basic, so the nights weren’t always very comfortable, but I got to stay among the locals and experience the real Nepal, which I loved.

We had a lot of fun, and yesterday I even had lunch at her home with her family.

I highly recommend Pooja and this trekking experience to anyone who is not in a rush and visiting Nepal!

Fantastic few days on Poon hill trek expertly guided by Min. We were so lucky to have him and Suni our porter looking after us. Could not have asked for better. Great accommodation and food at all the places we stayed and - oh, the views! Absolutely stunning ????

We did the 5-day Poon Hill trek and truly enjoyed the experience from start to finish. The route was well paced, with welcoming teahouses and a great atmosphere throughout. Our guide Suman was exceptional – professional, thoughtful, and always making sure we were comfortable. His knowledge and kindness turned the trek into an unforgettable adventure. Highly recommended!

I stopped by and mentioned that I had only one day and would like a guided bird watching trip. Suman arranged that trip for me in about ten minutes and the next day I had a wonderful all-day bird watching trip with a very knowledgeable and passionate bird guide through Godavari (about an hour outside Kathmandu). We saw 39 species of birds and heard even more. The trip was also very affordable! If you're a last minute planner on a budget like me, Suman will be able to accomodate!

I cannot sing enough praise for Nepal Mountain Trekkers and in particular TB Ghale. I am 67, recently widowed. I was last in Nepal to hike the Annapurna Circuit with my dearly departed soul mate in 2011 and wanted to return to trek to Lo Manthang and do some motorbike riding. TB was gracious, kind, respectful, flexible, and genuinely caring. We rafted. I paraglided and took an ultralight flight. Capaccinno was offered when available. Fresh avocadoes were carried from Pokhara to Mustang as well as fresh apples and mangos. School supplies and sports bits that I purchased were distributed to schools in Mustang. I was able to enjoy motorcycling in Lo Manthang. We say amazing caves in Jhong. We had delicious food at local restaurants. I wanted to escape Katmandu my last night so TB (affectionately called didi) found a lovely hotel in the mountains and we rode 2 up on a borrowed motorbike for a memorable last night complete with local yogurt and amazing pizza in Katmandu. The absolute highlight for me aside from the comparaderie that didi and I shared was riding a Honda XR150 from Pokhara to Chitwan National Park and back, controlled chaos at its best. I was in total bliss the entire time. We stayed in a picturesque lodge, watched a beautiful sunset and took a jeep safari the morning of our departure. No detail was missed, no kindness forgotten.

We loved our “trek”. 3 horseback riders and 2 on mountain bikes doing the Upper Mustang Valley. Exceptional arrangements

Ramesh and Suman at NMT and Green Horizon Hotel were amazing and very very helpful. They arranged a combination trip of horse riding and mountain biking to Upper Mustang. This worked out fantastically for all of us and our guide TB couldn’t have been more helpful. We also had a back up jeep which made the whole experience much more enjoyable. Both the horses and mountain bikes were great and I would definitely advise horse riding, if you are an experienced horse rider. Though some of our party had some health issues, these were sorted out immediately and the trek continued for the others. A fantastic, professional and very friendly company.
